articulatefreely If there are strings on it, there is a musician playing it on this album and playing it joyfully with virtuoso skill. They were apparently just hanging out one afternoon jamming and the result is this tour de force. Wonderful stuff. Favorite track: Water Spirit.

Rain falling through a canopy of leaves So many clouds between you and me The sun breaks thru every once and awhile Dazzling tear drops and holiday smiles But there is hope on the horizon That some day this will clear Like my reflections in the puddles Every time I draw you near Water Spirit Whispering in the mountain brook Water Spirit Asking me to take a look inside Spirit of rainbows is a spirit of tear It takes one to draw the other one near Swirling storm clouds and violet haze There will always be lonely days But there is hope on the horizon That some day this will clear Like my reflections in the puddles Ever time I draw you near It's been dry so long Now I'm drenched to the bone With echos of passions thunderous tones But now the rain has subsided And the clouds hold their ground With a sad and soggy melancholy Pitter patter sound As the wind shakes the leaves Memories of rain still cling Falling to fill my wishing well Of impossible dreams Water Spirit Dance between the rocks and stones Water Spirit Nurture that which has been sown in side Seeds of love from all the years gone by

about

I pulled these friends together, all accomplished musicians, to play a live Valentines gig at the Riverwest Filling Station. I have sat on these recordings for a long time, and NOW seems to be a good time to release them to the world.
